Oticon Syncro 2:
Oticon Syncro 2 Hearing Aids are the first hearing aid to cross the boundary from ordinary, digital technology into the future category of advanced hearing instruments with artificial intelligence. The human brain has a natural ability to focus on speech and filter out noise, and Oticon Syncro 2 Hearing Aids use Artificial Intelligence to simulate this process. Oticon Syncro 2 Hearing Aids react much like the brain when adjusting to a particular listening situation: It automatically tracks and enhances speech while reducing irrelevant noises. Oticon Syncro 2's new Voice Priority Processing system comprises three key elements: Multi-band Directionality, TriState Noise Management and Voice Aligned Compression. These systems work in parallel to monitor and analyze all critical sound parameters and determine which combination of settings will provide the optimum Voice-over-Noise ratio.
The new Voice Priority Processing system is anchored in three independent yet fully interactive systems.
Multi-band Adaptive Directionality - With Multi-band processing and Split Directionality, Oticon Syncro 2's system remains directional longer and remove up to four sources of noise simultaneously.
TriState Noise Management
Three modes of operation - Oticon Syncro 2 Hearing Aids offers three modes of operation: Surround, Split Directionality and Full Directionality. The new, Split Directionality Mode now broadens the directional function to include lower input levels - including moderate wind noise. Only the first of Syncro 2's four adaptive frequency bands moves into Surround Mode, so that the three mid- and higher-frequency bands free may continue attenuating noise. The new, intermediate Split Directionality mode makes the system more responsive at lower input levels, i.e the noisier it gets, the more focused Syncro 2 becomes. It shifts between three modes of directionality to increase the focus on the main speaker.
Program Cost: $2,499 or $66/mo.
